Time for a Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone and Welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to join the hop for the first time this month and I hope you enjoy my project. If you have come here from Tamytha's Blog then you're on the right track!  If you've just begun to hop, don't worry; it goes in a big circle so its all right to start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can see the full list on Kathleen's Blog.

December's stamp of the month is such an easy set to work with and very versatile, so I'm sure you'll find alot of inspiration as you travel the hop.  It's called Amore (D1445) and is available the entire month of December at a discount, or even FREE with a qualifying purchase.  So be sure to grab this set on my website and come on back to create some of the artwork you see on the hop for yourself!!

Without further ado; on to my projects !!!

Project 1:  a single page layout inspired by a quilt pattern I had in my stash that I intend on using in my Valentine's Day album.. I have one page for every year my DH and I have been together and celebrated Valentine's together, so this set just seemed to be too perfect to get my layout done for 2011 :)  Tutorial pics will be on the end of the post if you would like to see how I did it!
Supplies:  CTMH Magnifique paper pack, D1445 Amore, microtip scissors, foam dots, chcoclate and Pacifica ink, CTMH copper photo hangers, and organza ribbon.  Tags are cut from Colonial White cs.

Project 2: A special wall hanging I'm giving to one of my nieces for Christmas.  She LOVES peacocks, the strut, the flashy flambouyance of it all, so it was just the thing to make a teenage girl happy..LOL ~ an "ultra WOW" way for her to display a picture on her wall - (shown here out of the frame so I wouldn't get the horrible glare from the glass)
CTMH wall display in framed shadow box

Crepe paper flowers accented with mocha gems, shimmer brads and copper flowers.

Supplies used to make crepe paper flowers: Glue gun and gluesticks, white crepe paper, Pacifica and Sky reinkers, rubbing alcohol, water, small glass dish, and microwave to dry.

Supplies used on the layout: Z1349 SHIMMER Designer Brads, Z1331 Foundry Flourishes, Z1333 Mocha Opaques
Chocolate and Pacifica ink pads, Magnifique paper pack, Exacto knife, sanding block, Amore stamp set, Cutterpede scallop edge blade and paper trimmer, Tombow adhesive for paper, and Liquid Glass Adhesive for metal accents.

Now "Hop" on over to Vickie's blog to see her work and continue on the hop .....or hang out here for a minute to view the tutorial on how to make the Spiraling Log Cabin quilt page.  Either way, I hope you've enjoyed being here with me and feel free to leave comments or questions !

  10. naturally like your website however you need to test the spelling on several of
your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling
issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the truth nevertheless I'll surely come back again.
