Just a quick share of one of the layouts I completed this week using pics of some great teens I know. I used the format for the Veranda workshop on the go ( and , of course, deviated slightly..hehehe) but I really love this photo of the twins together and it just seems to capture each of them perfectly ~ thus, it's getting a layout all its own :) I love creating this patina on the pewter metal flowers, buckles, and brads with StazOn.
Hope you enjoy it :) HUGZ! Angel
Recipe: Veranda paper pack, CTMH cs, filigree metal flowers, B1338 Follow your Heart stamp set, CTMH Just Blooms, bitty sparkles, Garden Green, Cocoa, Creme Brulee, and Tulip ink, Timber brown and Forest green Staz-On ink. What fun !
Our March weekend crop went so well and I had so much fun! The gals and I cropped our hearts out and did some great layouts and projects! The "featured" layout for the crop was this one using Veranda and learning how to use the CTMH waterbrush to create these beautiful flowers.
We have more crops coming up for spring and through the summer - so if you're not on email updates - be sure to contact me - We'd love to see you :)

Then, we had loads of fun using our own stashes and creating these dry erase boards ~ Deb did such
a great job on hers using her Prima tea & silk stash -- and the other is mine using Notebook from CTMH.
(There was also some outstanding boards done by Donna -- but she's camera shy..lol)
Now I'd like to share some fishing layouts I actually completed myself this weekend! This is the first event where I have actually sat down and did some of my own scrappin' LOL
Recipe: Garden Green cs - Rustic Trail Stickease - Dimensional Elements Frames -
paper flowers and brads all from CTMH with a few Plumeria DewDrops thrown in for "bling" ~ Hope my son likes it!

A Gift for Preacher
Just a quick share tonight before I sign off to bed ~ This is the breakfast try I found at the antique shop that had a deteriorating picture of apples and a water pitcher (lol) inside the tray and was $4 when I found it. As most of you know, from time to time I post "recycling projects" and this is one of them. This tray was just begging for a make over; so I bought it and took it home. I sanded off all of the images with a hand sander and lots of elbow grease (but left all the banged up notches that make it look so cool to me), then I lacquered it and added some steel wool and Brass-O to the handles and went to work with the cosmetics..lol. This is CTMH paper called Veranda from the Spring catalog ~ I just love the greens and creme brulee together! Then I used the new Rubons from the CTMH Primavera collection (it says You are Loved) to finish it off, along with some stamping ~ sets used are Adorning Corners, and Reminisce (also CTMH). So do you think our new young preacher and his family will enjoy my housewarming gift?? I hope so !
***BIG*** Announcement coming tomorrow when I've had more sleep - so stop by with your coffee cup tomorrow ~ You're NOT gonna want to miss it!

Oh BabY !
Just thought I'd share a few things today ;)
First, in lieu of all the announcements of baby showers coming up - I've made my first baby shower present of 2010 - the first of many, lol. Its a wall hanging and shadow box frame (with a card to match, of course).
All 3 were done using the same Studio G kits I found years ago and recently resurrected from my stash. The colors are all the same in each kit, I just took the pics at different times during the day, so the shading makes them look different from each other. As predicted from my friend Sherry - I didn't stick to the recipe with the kit at all..lol... but it sure was fun painting the letters in Adirondack Baby Pink acrylic paint, then adding the papers, rub ons, embellishments and the dainty rose ribbon to the wall hanging letters (the blank tag on the second B is intentional ~ its for the baby's name), and then "pulling" double stitch ribbon and adding a corduroy pink brad to make the flower on the shadow box. The card was made of the scraps left over - just cut all the scraps to 1x1 squares and arrange to make a baby quilt background - then I randomly stamped the plainer pieces with heart stamps. The matted title is done using an emboss-resist and I wish I could photograph it better! I used clear superfine CTMH embossing powder on pink paper and then sponged on some chocolate ink on the pink paper to distress it and make the embossing "appear" I love how it turned out!
