April SOTM Blog Hop - You are my Sunshine

Greetings Everyone!

Welcome to my blog, and the SOTM Blog Hop - whether you have come from Traci's Blog or you are just starting out here :))

I'm celebrating my 2 year anniversary with doing the SOTM Blog Hop this month - as well as Easter (which is my 2nd favorite holiday after Christmas) - all on the same day!!  I have enjoyed all of the hardscrappin' ladies I've met doing this hop every month - and been so Inspired by them - they are a truly special bunch, and if any of you are reading this::  THANK YOU!

This months set is so cheerful and cute!!  It makes me feel like I'm standing in warm sunshine basking already, even though its still quite chilly here and we haven't had much sunshine.

Here is my card that I created using a mixed bag of the new pattern papers from the Spring Idea Book, the CTMH Cricut cart, glitter glue, and a couple of the new red prisms, bitty sparkles, and pearls:

Yes, I know the stamp set is NOT shaped like that on the carrier sheet - but that is one of the MARVELOUS THINGS that you can do with CTMH acrylic stamps!!  They can be manipulated on the block to match alot of different shapes - and the high grade acrylic they are made of stays sticky enough to hold it in these positions for you to stamp with them......  LOVE LOVE LOVE our My Acrylix stamp sets! -

                                      Can't You Tell !?!?!  LOL

Thanks for stopping by and if you have time - type me a quick "shout out" or questions if you have them - I LOVE reading and answering them :)

Have a wonderful Easter!

December SOTM Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the December Hop, whether you are coming from
Michelle's Blog or just starting the hop :)

Here is the fabulous set for this month:

And here is the first 7 months of my birthday and anniversary calendars that I am doing for gifts this year ~ its WONDERFUL that you have a great stamp in this set for each month and can easily do a whole year with just this ONE set !  The kids home from school for the holiday prevented me from finishing all 12 months to show you, but I proudly have 12 of each of the ones shown below done, so I'm so glad I've  made this much progress thus far, and hope to finish them this week and get them shipped!
*wish me luck!*

I hope all of you have a Wonderful Holiday Season!  Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to You All!

Show me the WOW - New Product Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  It's great to have you here to see my project ( some of you are from Sheila's Blog, others are just joining in now, so just keep following our little cyberspace bread crumb trail to take a peak at ALL the FABULOUS new products in the Autumn Winter Idea Books from CTMH.   This hop is a little different since we each will be choosing different items to SHOW OFF, versus the SOTM blog hop where everyone does the same stamp set in a million different ways!

I chose to premiere the Burlap Ribbon, Posh Journaling Spots, and Mini FlipFlaps -- OH YEAaaa!  These little babies are so AWESOME!  The wheel s in my head; they are a turnin'...LOL

Have a Look:
Papers: Felicity and Sasparilla, Cashmere cs, ~CTMH

The little "Hands" on the photo point to all the new items ( click to enlarge it  :)) Also there is one "hand" without a notation -- that's to remind me to tell you that the layout pattern is from the new Make It From Your Heart Softcover book Volume 1 -- Pattern number 8 found on page 20!  I love the MIFYH Book -- You'll be seeing more out of it from me for sure!

Next stop on your hop is Wendy's Blog -- or you can scan through my step-by-step pics on how I turned this cardstock into this color -- making my own background papers for this layout .  Enjoy the hop and leave some LUV, comments or questions below before you go !

See you again August 15th for the National Stamping Month Blog Hop!

Hard to photograph, but there is a snowflake cutout on both sides of the box!
