Vita Bella - It's a Beautiful Life...

The Girls Night Crop is approaching... Friday Feb 5th. So I though I'd share the layout and projects for this month. Enjoy the post and I hope to see you this weekend!

February Card workshop: This was so fun to create - I used several lines of papers from CTMH: Emporium, Amore, Perfect Day, and Twitterpated. Of course I had to bling - so I went Elvis and did it my way... an antique brass lock on a string, rhinestone 3D butterflies, pewter centered flowers, glittered guitars and hearts with wings... can't help it, I just get all caught up in it and go crazy!
Precut and/or prestamped kits are available all this month, so if you haven't reserved yours you can email me to get yours this week and give them to all your special Valentines!
The layout has all the bling and whistles I love to do for a special Valentine's Day. It is whimsical, flirty, and incorporates all my favorite things: foil embossed papers, metal embellishments, ribbons, and glitter! I love it!
Supplies: Cherish template and Twilight ink from CTMH, Vita Bella foil embossed paper, filigree flowers, epoxy buttons, glitter stickers, and ribbon by LYB, Storybook Cricut cartridge letters and 3D flowers , stamp by Endless Designs circa 1985.

Just sharing... Katie's album

Hi and Welcome everyone!
It seems the cold snap we'd have for 2 weeks has passed, and the weather is so NICE today I've spent most of the morning out on the porch, (*grin*) but I promised myself I would keep up the blogging in 2010, (remember ?)

So here's an album I'd like to share that I completed for my niece Katie during the holiday season (but never posted) that I'm thrilled to say she absolutely loved when I gave it to her :)

I'm so proud of Katie and she's been on my mind alot since this is her senior year and she'll be starting a new chapter of her life soon. Katie ~ if you do read this {{HUGZ}} and I love you :)
This was an odd sized album I picked up long ago, but I never knew what I wanted to do with it, since the pages are a unique size - luckily all the page protectors were included! From the pictures it's hard to understand, but the pages are actually 10 x 8, so it was a challenge :)
The great part was it was ring bound instead of posts so she can add more pockets later. I used CTMH chipboard letters, distressed and inked them then applied rub-ons and a layer of Liquid Glass to make them resilient and glossy. The chipboard flowers and other rubons are also CTMH (from various collections), the white flourish background is an adhesive vinyl design I cut out with my Pazzle, and the chocolate extra wide book binding tape used on the spine is from 7Gypsies. It really didn't need it, but I wanted it to last a long time, so I always try to make thing "strong"..lol. Hope you enjoy your day! ~~A.
Enjoy!
