Miracle Kit + the All Sorts Chipboard Album

Hi everyone!  It was so nice to see some of you at the Garden of Memories Event and I met some new people as well - had a great time and finished 10 layouts after I taught the flower techniques class.  What an excellent way to spend a Saturday!  Now I'm half way through the baby album I'm making for a present :)

I just have to share all the projects I did when I got home!  My order arrived on Monday afternoon and of course, I had to get just one more (ok, 2 more) Miracle Kits -- Its the special kit for National Scrapbooking Month from Close to My Heart -- this time I did quite a few projects with one kit and some extra cardstock and  some ribbon :)  I love the way it all came together, so I hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to make something using the Miracle Kit while its available this month, too !

This is the front cover of the album and a couple of the pages from inside, plus when I was done with the album I had a few good sized pieces left, so I kept going!  Next, I created 2 layouts of some adorable pictures of my son at Halloween, and then I did 4 cards!  All in, I think it all worked out great!

(Yes I know I spelled Turtle wrong -- but if you could've seen what Mr.Hyper was doing that day you would've named him TURDle, too !!

  1. I am LOVING this album. My aunt is getting married next month and you so have inspired me to make her an album with this kit. Thanks!
Just one question, on the cover did you ink right on the clipboard or did you put paper on first?

  3. Hi Katarina & Rachel - Welcome!

About the front cover - I added the colonial white paper first then inked it, then added the B&T and inked it again around the edges. I also inked the edges of the Stickease to give it a more definitive edge. HTH :) ~ ANgel

  4. Hi! I like your mini album. I made one as well and printed in the pictures in sepia which added a nice touch to the browns and blues in the paper. Come visit my relatively new blog.
